Iggy Azalea is engaged. L.A. Lakers star Nick Young, a.k.a. Swaggy P, popped the question during his 30th birthday celebration on Monday night. A friend posted the proposal video on Twitter, writing: “Swaggy P celebrated his birthday tonight by popping the question to his girlfriend Iggy!” In the clip, Young gets down on one knee and holds a ring out. He asks if she would marry him, and she says, “Yes!” Friends and family at the carnival-themed party then cheer for the young couple. Azalea and Young have been dating since 2013. Meanwhile, Iggy has cancelled her U.S. tour for a second time due to production problems.
Caitlyn Jenner is set to make her first public appearance at this year’s ESPY Awards next month, where she will receive the Arthur Ashe Courage Award. Jenner will appear at the ceremony, which is put on by sports network ESPN each July during Major League Baseball’s All-Star break. Jenner announced her planned transition from male to female back in April, and on Monday Vanity Fair magazine revealed Jenner’s new identity. ESPN presents the annual award to someone for their “strength in the face of adversity, courage in the face of peril and the willingness to stand up for their beliefs no matter what the cost.”
Mariah Carey posted a profile on Match.com on Tuesday. But before you get too excited, she joined the online dating site to launch her new music video “Infinity.” Under the user name “MC1toInfinity” the singer describes herself as divorced with two children. She labels her body type as “curvy” and describes her ethnicity as “Black, African descent, Latino/Hispanic, and White/Caucasian.” The pop star says she is 5-feet-9-inches tall and a “social drinker.” She lists her interests as cooking, movies/videos, music, and concerts. A Christian, she considers herself a spiritual person. Carey also says she enjoys swimming and yoga.
