Kayak trek resumes with warmer temperatures

It’s been to much ice for that kayaker heading around all of the Great Lakes this past week. Missouri’s Traci Martin says now with the warmer weather she is ready to push on after only getting 30-miles or so in the first week. Martin says when she got out of the water 8-days ago it took 18-hours to warm the ice off her kayak. She has stayed with a Port Huron family for the past week and heads back out with warmer weather back in the area. Martin tells us she really hasn’t lost any time in her schedule as she actually started a couple of weeks early. She plans on circling each of the great lakes over the next several months. The Journey began here in Port Huron on the 9th.
