The Detroit Tigers retired the number 47 on Sunday in honor of Hall of Fame pitcher Jack Morris, then continued the celebration with a 4-2 win over the Minnesota Twins. Matt By tossed six strong innings, allowing one run on two hits, while Jeimer Candelario paced the attack with two hits and an RBI for Detroit. The Tigers took two out of three from the Twins and begin a three game series against the White Sox on Monday night at Comerica Park.
