The Tigers scored a pair of runs in the ninth and had the tying and winning runners on base, but came up short in a 6-5 loss to the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday afternoon.  Nick Castellanos knocked in two runs, while Jose Iglesias, Mikie Mahtook, and Grayson Greiner each drove in one run for Detroit.  Jose Abreu hit a home run and knocked in three runs for the Sox.  The Tigers head to Minnesota to open a four game series with the Twins on Thursday night.
