The local health department is offering hearing and vision screenings for those going back to school. The St. Clair County Health Department says any child entering preschool oar kindergarten this fall is eligible for a free screening. Appointments are available and walk-ins will be accepted. The screenings will start Monday August 20th and run through the 31st at the Health Department on 28th Street, in Port Huron. They will be offered Mondays from 11am – 2pm and 3pm – 6pm and Tuesday through Friday from 8am – Noon and 1pm – 4pm.
