The Annual Community Roof Sit is winding down…. with WSAQ morning man Matt Markham set to come down from the roof of the Michigan Mutual Mortgage building tomorrow afternoon. Officials with the St. Clair County Child Abuse and Neglect Council say they are on track to reach their $125,000 goal by the end of the week. A big bump in the fundraising effort came from yesterday’s rooftop rally, where law enforcement and St. Clair County Community Mental Health officials raised over $62,000 during a one day fundraising competition. Donations can be made by calling 866-852-KIDS or stopping by the Michigan Mutual Building at the corner of Military and Water Streets in Downtown Port Huron. Roof sit ends at 6pm tomorrow.
