Relief at the pump for Thanksgiving travelers

Gas prices this Thanksgiving will be the lowest in two years. Gas prices dropped another 12 cents in Michigan last week to a statewide average of $2.49 a gallon, the
lowest since February. Triple-A forecasts more than 1.7 million Michigan residents will travel this week. Of those, nearly 1.6 million will drive. The highest prices are in
Marquette at $2.71 a gallon and the lowest are in Grand Rapids-Muskegon-Holland at $2.34 a gallon. Locally, Port Huron Area Pumps are asking about $2.37 on average for a gallon of regular unleaded.
