Two men from Macomb County are recovering from an accident in Sanilac County’s Maple Valley Township yesterday morning. According to the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Department, a 34 year old Chesterfield Township man was driving north on Shepard Road when he lost control of his vehicle and overturned in a ditch. The driver was treated at the scene for his injuries and his passenger, a 28 year old from Mount Clemens, was taken to an area hospital for further treatment. The accident is under investigation by sheriff’s officials and the Brown City Fire Department assisted at the scene.
