The Detroit Pistons led 62-53 at the half, but were held to just 31 second half points, and lost 102-93 to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night.  Reggie Jackson had 22 and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 21.  The Pistons host New York at the Palace on Friday.
The Detroit Red Wings got a point in Anaheim, but blew a 2-0 lead in the third period and lost 4-3 in shootout to the Ducks.  Pavel Datsyuk had two goals and Riley Sheahan had the other for Detroit.  The Wings play in Los Angeles on Tuesday night in the fourth game of a six game road trip.
Michigan State ran its winning streak to four in a row with a 60-53 win at Illinois on Sunday night.  Denzel Valentine scored 20 and Travis Trice added 18 in the victory.  Michigan State is back home on Thursday to face Minnesota.
