One of the weekest hitting and lowest scoring teams in the American League, went off on Thursday night as the Angles beat the Tigers 12-2.  The Angels smashed three home runs, including a grand slam by Chris Iannetta.  Detroit continued its struggles at Angels Stadium, where they are 4-14 in their last 18 games.  Game two of a four game series is set for Friday night.
Yoenis Cespedes hit a three run home run and six Tigers' pitchers combined in a 3-2 Detroit win in Oakland on Wednesday afternoon.  Detroit had won two in a row and heads to Los Angeles to start a four game series with the Angels on Thursday night.
David Price tossed seven shutout innings on Tuesday night to help the Detroit Tigers to a 1-0 win in Oakland.  The victory ended a three game losing streak for the Tigers.  Rajai Davis drove in the games only run in the first inning with a sac-fly.  The final game of a three game series is set for Wednesday afternoon in Oakland.
