Jose Iglesias singled home the game winning run in the bottom of the ninth as the Detroit Tigers beat the Chicago White Sox 2-1 on Friday at Comerica Park.  Yoenis Cespedes knocked in the other Tiger run with a home run.  Detroit (9-1) got another terrific start from David Price, who went 8 innings and allowed one run on four hits with nine strike outs.  The Tigers and White
The Red Wings Luke Glendening's third period short handed goal was the difference in a 3-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday night.  Pavel Datsyuk had the other two Detroit goals in game one of a best-of-seven series.  The real story was Petr Mrazek, who stopped 44 shots in his first career playoff start and helped stop wave after wave of Lightning attacks.  Tampa
Seven players scored in double figures for the Pistons, as they closed out the season with a 112-90 win over the New York Knicks on Wednesday.  Reggie Jackson had 24, Andre Drummond and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope 17 each, and Caron Butler 14 for Detroit.  In their first season under coach Stan Van Gundy the Pistons go (32-50) and miss the playoffs.
