Former Wing Jiri Hudler had two goals to lead the Calgary Flames to a 5-2 win over the Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena on Friday night.  The loss ended a three game win streak for Detroit.  Justin Abdelkader scored both Wings goals.  Detroit is on the road Sunday at Boston.
The Detroit Pistons fell behind by 24 and lost by ten, 103-93 at Houston on Friday night.  Greg Monroe scored 19 and Reggie Jackson 17 for the Pistons, who have lost five in a row.  Detroit returns home on Sunday to face Charlotte.
In his first game as a Red Wing, Marek Zidlicky scored a power play goal in overtime to give the Detroit Red Wings a 2-1 victory over the New York Rangers on Wednesday night at Joe Louis Arena.  Justin Abdelkader also scored for the Wings, while Henrik Zetterberg added two assists.
