ATTITUDES CHANGING ON SAME SEX MARRIAGE IN MICHIGAN

Nearly 60-percent of Michigan voters believe that the state's ban on same-sex marriage is unconstitutional according to a new statewide poll. According to the survey, conducted by the Glengariff Group and commissioned by the group Equality Michigan, 59-percent say Michigan's 2004 voter-approved ban on same sex marriage is unconstitutional. And 63 percent in the same poll support the recognition of marriages from other states.
