Amy Schumer on being a Mrs.

“It feels f–king good!” said newlywed Amy Schumer on the SiriusXM show, You Up.

She joined her good pal, and host of You Up, Nikki Glaser for a dish-all session on life as a married couple.  For those that missed the ship, Schumer and Chris Fischer got married quickly and secretly. No one knew about their wedding except for their exclusive guest list and no one was suspecting it either considering the couple had only been together a couple months. Their intimate beach ceremony happened in Malibu on February 13th.

When Glaser asked about how quickly things happened for the couple, Schumer responded with, “Part of the thing that’s good about us getting married so quickly is that we’re so in love.” She then went on to say, ” “Every girl I know, if they get proposed to they’re like, ‘Oh now? Now that I can’t have kids!” The 36 year old actress likes that they moved quickly at this stage in the game.

So what is it like for the queen of single-life comedy to be called, “wife”?

“Somebody went to sit next to [Chris] and he’s like, ‘My wife is sitting here,’ and then I got back and he was excited to tell me that he said that. I just have been really overusing it to a degree that’s insane. Like, when it’s completely uncalled for,” says Schumer. “…it’s still like, a novelty.” While they both are in a cloud of absolute bliss, Schumer did imply there are things that will be hard to part with from being a single woman. “This show is called You Up, right? I don’t ever think I’ll get a text like that again, You know what I mean? And that made me really happy, but also really sad.”

(Swipe through, recognize anyone?) J-Law had this to say about her friend’s wedding when interviewed by Entertainment Tonight.

“It was very sudden, but it was, I was sobbing the whole — his vows were stunning. It’s when two people really love each other and they really mean it, it shows, and it was a beautiful ceremony and an amazing time. I couldn’t be happier for them,” said Lawrence.

The honeymooners wrote their own vows for the whirlwind wedding, Schumer revealed. “I remember a joke from yours,” the host of You Up recalled. “You go, ‘You make me laugh , you make me smile, you make me feel loved, you make me food.’

Schumer goes on to say that Fischer’s vows blew her away. “He was like, ‘The other day I lost a tennis match and you called me a f–king loser.’ It was all like, awful sh-t.” What else would you expect from this comedy couple? “All his stories about me that were supposed to be endearing were about me screaming at him,” Schumer laughed. Schumer gave us some insight to what hers were like, “In my vows I go, ‘But I promise I’ll keep going down on you, even though everyone tells me I won’t.”

“I just annoy him all day. I’ll be like, ‘Do you want to play a game?’ and he’s like, ‘What?’ And I’m like, ‘Guess how many times I sneezed today?’ And like, that’ll be the game. And he’ll be like, ‘Three.’ And I’ll be like, ‘Don’t remember!” Can anyone else relate?

Cheers to the happy couple and we wish them the best in all their future adventures.
