BLACK RIVER GOLF CLUB LOOKING FOR IMPROVEMENTS

Port Huron Township's Black River Country Club has a new Vice President and General Manager, with plans to turn the facility into a more family-friendly place.  The club's Bill Salatino says he's hired a new Head Golf Professional, Jeff Rachar, who's a certified PGA Professional. Salatino says the club's Events and Restaurant Manager Jordan Shields has been working over the winter months and has a number of weddings, showers, business events, banquets and graduation parties already booked through the summer months. He says the club is planning to host a town hall-style meeting in the next few months to introduce the club's new management team.
