Excessive heat warnings continue today and tomorrow with most locations in Southeast Michigan reaching over 90-degrees the next two days. These are Ozone Action Days too. The heat spell is expected to subside Saturday and Sunday with highs in the upper 70’s. Isolated severe thunderstorms have been reported over the past couple of days including a strong cell early this morning that hit southern Saint Clair and northern Macomb counties. It had produced 60-plus mile-per-hour winds. Northern Macomb County had seen storms too on Tuesday and Wednesday with several trees and power lines downed.
