Four candidates, for Port Huron’s City Manager position, have been identified and will be asked to come before council for interviews on Saturday, May 10th. That’s the headline, from Tuesday night’s special closed door session, of the City Council. Mayor Pauline Repp says, the board met, for about two and a half hours, to review the 45 resumes that had been received. Council also chose two alternates in case, as happened last year, there is a problem with schedules or prior commitments. Repp says a public announcement on the names of the candidates will be made once confirmation of the interviews are completed. Bruce Brown retires from the post this summer.
