CRASH IN CLYDE TOWNSHIP SEES ARREST

The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office says a 37-year old Washington Township woman is in custody following a crash in Clyde Township late Tuesday afternoon.  Sheriff Tim Donnellon says the woman was driving along Vincent Road when her vehicle was struck nearly head-on by a vehicle driven by a 30-year old from Croswell, who lost control of his vehicle on slushy roads.  During investigations it was determined the woman was intoxicated.  She was treated at the scene then taken to the St. Clair County Jail.  The passenger in her vehicle, a 49-year old man from Croswell, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.  The 30-year old Croswell driver was also cited for speeding too fast for conditions.  He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The Sheriff says the woman is expected to be arraigned on charges of operating while intoxicated.  The accident happened just after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
