CYBER SAFETY AT PHHS

The Port Huron Area School District is working with the Michigan Attorney General's office in taking the lead on a program to educate young children about Internet safety.  The school district's Ed Breslin says given the ubiquitous nature of technology in modern society, the Cyber Safety Initiative is timely and necessary.  The presentation will focus on internet predators, social media, cyberbullying and related concerns.  The community seminar provides practical tools for parents, including a PowerPoint handout of slides covered during the seminar, to help adults employ the skills at home. It takes place Monday at 7 p.m. at the Port Huron High School Performing Arts Center.
