Miguel Cabrera had three hits, two home runs and a double, and drove in six runs to lead the Detroit Tigers to a 12-2 win over Oakland on Tuesday night. Cabrera hit his 39th and 40th home runs of the season, including a grand slam, which accounted for half of the Tigers four home runs in the game. Jhonny Paralta and Prince Fielder also went deep, Fielder drove in two runs to reach the 100 RBI mark for the season. Along with Cabrera, Austin Jackson and Gerald Laird also had three hits in the game. The second game of a three game series is set for Wednesday night at Comerica Park.
