Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are planning to get hitched soon -- but there's some question whether Kim's stepdad, Bruce Jenner, will be invited. According to TMZ, Bruce Jenner wasn't invited to the big engagement at San Francisco's AT&T Park. In fact, he didn't even know it was going down and found out only when Kim called him right afterward. There's no word on whether the exclusion was Kanye's doing, but considering how pre-planned the quote-unquote "surprise" was, you have to figure she was complicit -- even though she considers Bruce her father.
Perhaps we have our New Year's tradition for the next 40 years -- Ryan Seacrest has signed a multi-year deal to stay on as the host of ABC's Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. Terms of the deal haven't been disclosed, so we don't know how many more years Ryan will be counting down as the ball drops. But he's been with the show since co-hosting with Dick in 2005, so it's a safe bet we'll be seeing him on many more December 31st's. Last year's show, the first after Dick's passing, was the most-watched New Year's special in the country with 22.6 million viewers.
Pauly D didn't want his love child at first, but now he says the little bundle of joy is a "blessing." TMZ reported that the Jersey Shore star urged his Vegas one-night stand, Amanda Markert, to get an abortion. He even offered to pay for it. Sources say Amanda took the money but didn't go through with the procedure. She allegedly looked to pocket more cash by selling the texts in which Pauly made the offer. Pauly responded by tweeting, "Sometimes in life things aren't planned and they may even scare you at first, but they end up being a blessing."
Dina Lohan was in court in Long Island, New York this week for a routine hearing in her DUI case, but it was her lawyer's statement on the courthouse steps afterward that grabbed all the headlines. Mark Heller told the assembled media, "The circumstances leading to Dina's arrest were largely impacted by ongoing daily stresses caused by you folks, the paparazzi, media attention and distorted tabloid character profiles." In other words, he essentially blamed the media for her drinking and driving. Prosecutors say Dina blew a .20 on a breathalyzer. She pleaded not guilty last month.
