Entertainment News For Monday!

Casey Kasem passed away yesterday at the age of 82.  He is perhaps best known for his weekly radio show "The American Top 40" which gave rise to a number of spin-off broadcasts such as the American Top 10 and Top 20. Kasem's bag of tricks didn't just include a great radio voice. He did voiceovers for numerous cartoons, but he is most famously remembered as Shaggy from the 1969 "Scooby Doo Where Are You?" series.  Kasem was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1981, and was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 1991.

Kelly Clarkson welcomed her first child with husband Brandon Blackstock last Thursday and revealed the news on Twitter. She happily announced: "Our baby girl River Rose Blackstock arrived on June 12th! Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes! Brandon and I are on cloud 9!!" The couple got married in Tennessee in October, and she revealed her pregnancy news four weeks later. In January she told fans she was expecting a girl. "I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!" she said.

Kanye West slammed the press while taking the stage at Tennessee's Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival on Friday night. Six years ago the crowd booed when West arrived six hours late for his headlining set at the Manchester event. West appeared to still harbor bad feelings about the 2008 incident. He accused the media of falsely reporting the cause for his late show, and repeatedly shouted at the audience, "Where the press at? Eff the press." Then West started talking about himself, telling concertgoers: "I am the number one mothereffing rock star on the planet!" Meanwhile, his wife Kim Kardashian showed up to the concert wearing a see-through blouse. She shared a photo of her get up on Instagram.
