Entertainment News For Thursday!

Lovable 70s pop duo Captain & Tennille are divorcing after 39 years of marriage. Singer Toni Tenille filed for divorce from Daryl Dragon, aka the 'Captain'  in an Arizona courthouse last Thursday. A posting on the duo's website confirmed the news, saying,  "Until Thursday, when Toni Tennile met with a DIVORCE ATTORNEY, everything relating to THE CAPTAIN & TENNILLE appeared to the public as them being the ideal model for a 'rock-solid' married pair." TMZ.com reports that the news comes as a surprise to Dragon, who said,  "I don't know why she filed. I gotta figure it out for myself first." Dragon added that they are still living together.

Police in Opa-locka, Florida, are under investigation following allegations that they gave an unauthorized escort to Justin Bieber after he arrived there by private jet Monday night. Footage shot by an onlooker in the area shows two police cruisers escorting two vehicles with Justin and his entourage down the streets of the Miami suburb. The video was brought to the attention of the Opa-locka police, who now want to know more about the escort. A rep for the department said that "the usage of the vehicles was unauthorized by the chief" and is now under investigation.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were reportedly "not classy" enough to get married at the Palace of Versailles. The two  - who got engaged in October - were keen to hold their wedding at the royal château in France, but their request was firmly declined because officials believed the couple were too glitzy for the French landmark. However, despite having their multi-million-pound offer rejected, the pair - who have seven-month-old daughter North together - still paid a visit to the luxury venue during a break to Paris over the weekend in the hope of winning the approval of directors while face-to-face.

The stars of the sitcom Full House are set to reunite during this year's Super Bowl. John Stamos, Dave Coulier and Bob Saget will join forces again on February 2 in a Super Bowl commercial for Dannon's Oikos brand yogurt. A teaser for the commercial was released on Monday, in which the three stars reveal that they're still living together after all these years. Stamos said, "I'm very grateful to my two brothers for doing this commercial with us for Dannon, and I think it's going to be really funny. People are going to be very surprised."
