Entertainment News For Thursday!

Nicki Minaj's wardrobe malfunction at the VMA's was staged. After she sang "Anaconda," she hurried off stage to change her costume in time to join Ariana Grande and Jessie J for their song, "Bang Bang," and it appeared that she ran out of time and had to hold her outfit closed to avoid anything falling out. Minaj said she "ran out of time getting zipped up" before having to get back out on stage, but according to TMZ the whole thing was staged. Witnesses say that during rehearsals Nicki took the stage in the same manner as during the live broadcast -- with her dress unzipped. A source close to the production says she appeared to be experimenting with the look to see if she would expose too much.

The homeless man Miley Cyrus took to the MTV Video Music Awards is wanted by police in connection with a probation violation, and the pop star has come his defense, telling fans that the larger issue of youth homelessness is more important than one man's troubles with the law. Miley tweeted: "The media never fails to disappoint. You've chosen to go after Jesse instead of covering the issue of youth homelessness. While they obsesses over one homeless mans legal issue let's help the other 1.6 million homeless youth." Cyrus also shared a link to a fundraiser for My Friend's Place, in which fans who donate money to the cause can win a trip to Brazil for her concert on Sept. 28.

John Stamos is working to bring "Full House" back to the small screen. The actor has reportedly gotten most of the original cast to return to the popular family sitcom, which aired from 1987 until 1995. Stamos, who played Jesse, has an ownership stake in the series. He has teamed up with Warner Bros., and original executive producer Bob Boyett and creator Jeff Franklin are actively involved in developing the project, with Franklin writing scripts for the new version. Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier are all involved in the project, but there's no word on whether Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will join the revival.
