Entertainment News For Tuesday!

J.K. Rowling's Hogwarts textbook is going to be made in a trilogy of spin-off films. "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" follows the adventures of Newt Scamander, a magical creatures expert known as a "magizoologist." The story takes place 70 years before the Harry Potter series begins and is set in New York. The series is described as "neither a prequel nor a sequel to the Harry Potter series, but an extension of the wizarding world." The project will be turned into three films, according to Warner Bros.

Billy Dee Williams has pulled out of U.S. ballroom competition Dancing With The Stars due to a chronic back problem. The actor, who turns 77 on Sunday, announced he would be leaving the programme in the middle of last night's episode. He explained, "I've got this chronic back problem. But I've had a wonderful, brilliant, fantastic blast of a time... Pure joy. And I want to thank every one of you folks for your support."

Lindsay Lohan's credit cards were reportedly rejected on a shopping trip. She is said to have attempted to make a purchase worth $300 at the Rag & Bone shop on Mercer Street in Soho, New York over the weekend, but was left red faced when the store wouldn't accept her cards. A rep for Lohan - who is said to be so strapped for cash that the production company behind her reality show on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network had to pay the security deposit and rent for her apartment - denied the reports as "completely false."
