Entertainment News For Wednesday!

Justin Bieber's pal Lil Za was arrested when police found illegal drugs in his possession when they raided the singer's home on Tuesday. The aspiring rapper was caught with a powdered substance which was reported to be cocaine, but may actually be MDMA, aka Ecstasy. Lil Za, real name Xavier Smith, faces prison time following the arrest regardless of which of the two drugs the powder, which police said was left in plain view. They also found Xanax. The rapper was also charged with vandalism while in jail following the arrest for smashing a phone after arranging for his bail to be posted.

Shia LaBeouf slammed Jim Carrey after he poked fun at Shia's plagiarism scandal during the Golden Globes. Carrey said, "Dying is easy. Comedy is hard... I believe it was Shia LaBeouf who said that." Shia responded by posting a video of Jim's daughter's band and wrote, "At least I don't get arrested for indecency on major LA highways! Or abandon love childs." Shia later deleted the post and wrote, "Jim Carrey states that he is deeply involved in his daughter's life. I accept that, regret tweet on the matter. Apologies to both parents." Both the offending post and the apology were then deleted and were replaced by: "I AM NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE."

Willow Smith is only 13, but she felt like she needed to slow down before accepting another acting gig. She  turned down the chance to star in the upcoming remake of Annie, which is being produced by her father Will Smtih. In fact, Will was tabbed to play Daddy Warbucks until his daughter left the production. Willow now tells V Magazine, "I just wanted to chill, and be at home, and decompress, and just find out what I wanna do and where I stand on this planet, with the little tiny place we have." The same goes for her music. Smith hasn't planned to commercially release any songs since last year's Summer Fling, although new tunes appear once in a while on her SoundCloud.

Kanye West is suing a crypto-currency company for trademark infringement for using his likeness on its entry into the virtual money market. West's lawyer filed a cease-and-desist order against the creators of Coinye West cyber-money, and he also filed for an injunction against several companies to keep the currency from being sold or used. Coinye West countered by quickly changing the image on its logo from Kanye's face wearing his signature shutter-shades to that of a fish -- with a head that looks a lot like Kanye's -- also wearing the shades. The company then changed its name to just 'Coinye' and transferred its online domain to one registered in India. Then they launched two days early.
