FILM FESTIVAL TIME IN PORT HURON




The red carpet is rolled out for this weekend's 4th annual Blue Water Film Festival.  The event tonight and tomorrow features lots of independent Michigan and Ontario made productions, along with a special night of comedy tonight featuring  comedian, actress, and Detroit native Loni Love of VH1's "I Love the 80's" and Tru TV's "World's Dumbest..." show.  The film fest's Kelly Kennedy tells our Paul Miller the festival concludes Saturday night with an award for Berkley native Curtis Armstrong, who's probably best known as Booger from the Revenge of the Nerds. Kennedy says the event also brings in lots of visitors, filmmakers and stars to town, with the intention of attracting investment and creating economic development.  The film festival itself take place Saturday.
