The Port Huron Fighting Falcons rallied on Saturday night for a 4-3 overtime win over Johnstown in the season opening game for both teams at McMorran Arena. Alex Archibald fired home the winning shot with 18 seconds left in the OT to provide Port Huron the victory. The goal was credited to Rick DeRosa who was not on the ice at the time. Down 2-0 going into the third period the Falcons rallied for three goals in a span of 2:34 to take a brief 3-2 lead. Matt Udovich, Mitch Maloney, and Ian Miller were the goal scorers. Mark Evan Auk had two assists. The teams will rematch on Sunday afternoon.
