Cute slogan for a breast cancer awareness shirt or inappropriate for school?
Cheerleaders at a school in Arizona created the "Feel For Lumps, Save Your Bumps" T-shirts in an effort to draw attention to the fight against breast cancer this October. They planned to wear the shirts on the sidelines and in the stands while collecting donations.
School administrators told the girls the shirts were not approved for school-related events and ultimately, could not be worn.
The shirts are part of making money for a good cause, but did the group go too far with the slogan? What do you think? Would you allow your teenager to wear it?
I would be proud of my child for coming up with such an idea to help raise not only money for the cause but awareness as well. The school is just being to strict on the students. How is that not appropriate but save the tatas or handle with care with a pair of hands on each breast and other shirts refering to breasts are? They need to open their eyes and allow the girls to do such a great thing.
