Numerous area communities held fireworks displays Wednesday night including Clio, Harrison Township, Port Austin, Lapeer, and St. Clair.  The St. Clair fireworks were over the waterway where dozens of boats were anchored for viewing.  They were also intermixed with sounds from horns on a passing freighter.  The fireworks season has yet to end with a major display in Port Huron set to wrap up the Blue Water Fest one week from this Sunday.
