A Saturday night into Sunday snow event kept the shovels going in portions of Sanilac County. The Lake effect snowfall saw nearly a foot of new snow in the Croswell area. Even Goodells picked up nearly a half foot of new snow. The precipitation turns to rain later today as a storm front misses us but causes blizzard warnings out east. It should be windy locally, especially tonight with some gusts as high as 39-miles per hour. Look for a return to the cold again come Wednesday with temperatures only near 23.
