The Tampa Bay Lightning got even with the Red Wings, winning game two of a best-of-seven series 5-1 on Saturday in Florida.  Tomas Tatar scored the lone goal for the Wings, who host games three and four at Joe Louis Arena on Tuesday and Thursday.

Rajai Davis led off the sixth inning with a solo home run and the Tigers beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 1-0 on Wednesday for their second straight shutout win and fourth in nine games this season.  The Tigers (8-1) got eight innings from Alfredo Simon, who allowed just two hits, and a perfect ninth inning from closer Joakim Soria who earned his fourth save.  The Tigers are home to face the

LeBron James had 21 points, ten rbounds, and 11 assists for his 39th career triple-double, leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 109-97 win over the Pistons on Monday night.  JR Smith made eight three pointers and finished with 28 for the Cavs.  Andre Drummond had 20, Caron Butler 19, and Reggie Jackson 18 for the Pistons.  Detroit closes out the season on Wednesday at New York.
Anibal Sanchez struck out nine, but allowed three home runs on Monday, as the Tigers lost for the first time this season, 5-4 in Pittsburgh.  JD Martinez hit a home run and knocked in two for the Tigers, while Miguel Cabrera added two hits, two runs, and an RBI.  Game two of a three game series is set for Tuesday night in Pittsburgh.
In their final home game of the season the Pistons nailed 16 three pointers and crushed the Charlotte Hornets 116-77.  Jodie Meeks had 24 to lead six Pistons in double figures in scoring.  Greg Monroe had 17 points 15 rebounds, while Andre Drummond scored 15 with 19 rebounds.  The Pistons final two games are on the road, with one in Cleveland on Monday.
