Nick Castellanos hit a three run triple in the eighth inning to break up a 2-2 tie and lift the Detroit Tigers to a 5-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday night.  The win ened a three game losing streak for the Tigers.  Castellanos finished with two hits and four RBI for the Tigers, who begin a four game series with the Houston Astros on Thursday afternoon at Comerica Park.

Ryan Braun, Adam Lind, and Amaris Ramirez hit consecutive home runs during a six run third inning, as the Milwaukee Brewers cruised to an 8-1 win over the Tigers on Tuesday night in Detroit.  The Tigers managed just three hits in a game, including one in the last seven innings.  The final game of a three game series is Wednesday night.
The Detroit Tigers couldn't get the big hit for a second day in a row, and lost 3-2 to the Milwaukee Brewers in the first game of a three game series at Comerica Park.  Ian Kinsler and James McCann knocked in runs for the Tigers, who host the Brewers again on Tuesday night.
Miguel Cabrera doubled home a run in the first inning, but that was all the Tigers would get on Sunday in a 2-1 loss to the Cardinals in St. Louis.  Detroit was going for a sweep in a three game series.  The Tigers return home on Monday to face Milwaukee in the start of another three game series.
Miguel Cabrera hit the 400th home run of his career as the Detroit Tigers beat the St. Louis Cardinals 4-3 in 10 innings on Saturday.  Ian Kinsler and Yoenis Cespedes each had three hits and an RBI while Jose Iglesias knocked in the go ahead run in the 10th.  The final game of a three game series is set for Sunday night.
The Detroit Tigers pounded out 17 more hits on Friday night and won in St. Louis 10-4 over the Cardinals.  Yoenis Cespedes, Miguel Cabrera, and JD Martinez all hit home runs.  Shane Greene earned the win with five scoreless innings.  Game two of a three game series is Saturday afternoon in Missouri.
The Detroit Tigers belted out 20 hits on Thursday in a 13-1 win over the Minnesota Twins at Comerica Park.  Miguel Cabrera had three hits, scored three runs, hit two home runs, and drove in five runs to pace the attack.  Bryan Holaday made his first start of the season and had three hits, including a home run, and knocked in three runs.  The Tigers play in St. Louis on Friday
The Minnesota Twins scored five runs in the third inning on their way to a 6-2 win over the Tigers in Detroit on Wednesday night.  Joe Mauer had one of three triples hit by Minnesota, and drove in three runs.  Yoenis Cespedes and Nick Castellanos had RBI for the Tigers.  The final game of a three game series is Thursday afternoon at Comerica Park.
Ian Kinsler won the game for the Tigers with an RBI single in the bottom of the tenth, as Detroit beat Minnesota 2-1 on Tuesday night.  JD Martinez hit a solo home run for the other Tiger run in the game.  Angel Nesbitt earned his first win in the majors with a scoreless inning of work in the top of the 10th.  Game two of a three game series is set for Wednesday night.
