A drug bust this week by the St. Clair County Drug Task Force saw crack cocaine and $300-dollars in cash seized.  Officials say the bust took place early Wednesday morning along the 31-hundred block of Electric Avenue.  The suspect, a 39-year old Port Huron man, was lodged at the St. Clair County Jail and is expected to be charged with possession with intent to deliver,
Motorists are about to have more work to steer around.  Starting Thursday, the city of Port Huron is making some improvements to Sanborn Street, between 10th Avenue and Stone Street.  The improvements include new asphalt pavement, concrete curb, and gutter and drive approaches, as well as watermain and sewer replacement.  Officials say Sanborn will be closed to traffic

An annual luncheon, Tuesday, by the committee that organizes Town Hall performances in Port Huron has selected The Salvation Army and Child Abuse and Neglect Council as the two charity’s they will help support following another successful series of presentations. Veterans would have a special veterans designation on their Michigan Driver's license, under a new program officially beginning today. The Detroit Red Wings offense is struggling and has scored just twice in three playoff games against the Boston Bruins.  Boston took a 3-0 win at Joe Louis Arena on Tuesday night, to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.  Game four is in Detroit on Thursday.
The Chicago White Sox scored all three of their runs in the seventh inning to beat the Detroit Tigers 3-1 on Monday night.  Anibal Sanchez had allowed just one hit through the first six innings, before allowing three doubles and a single in the seventh.  Game two of a four game series is Tuesday night at Comerica Park.
The Boston Bruins beat the Detroit Red Wings 4-1 on Eastern Sunday in game two of their best-of-seven playoff series.  The series is now tied at 1-1 with game three in Detroit on Tuesday.  Luke Glendening scored the lone goal for the Wings.

For the second night in a row the Port Huron Fighting Falcons were frustrated by Trevor Gorsuch, who made 28 saves for his second shutout in a row.  The Michigan Warriors beat the Falcons 3-0 at McMorran Arena to take a 2-0 series lead in the best-of-five North Division Final.  Tyler Groat had two goals for the Warriors, who host game three in Flint on Friday, April 25.
Nick Castellanos and Victor Martinez hit home runs as the Detroit Tigers beat the Los Angeles Angels 5-2 on Satuday at Comerica Park.  Max Scherzer struck out nine over seven innings and allowed just one run for the win.  The final game of a three game series is set for Sunday afternoon.
