MAKE ROAD AND BRIDGE WORK MORE ACCOUNTABLE

Dan Lauwers of Brockway Township says it would be a handy tool for protecting taxpayer dollars. Lauwers says residents are tired of seeing road and bridge projects fall apart too soon after they're supposedly fixed.  Meanwhile, Governor Rick Snyder is trying to win legislative approval for an additional $1.3 billion dollars a year to fix Michigan's roads.
