No. 19 Michigan defeated SMU on Saturday 45-20 at the Big House. Shea Patterson threw for 237 yards and three touchdowns, all to Donovan Peoples-Jones, who caught four passes for 90 yards. Michigan (2-1) will host Nebraska next Saturday at Noon in their league opener.
