The NAHL announced on Thursday that the league will realign from five divisions to four for next season.  The Midwest Division no longer exists, with St. Louis and Chicago dropping out of the league.  Coulee Region has been moved to the Central Division and Janesville and Springfield will join the North Division.  The North has grown from five teams last season to eight teams this year.  Port Huron is joined by the Soo Eagles (formerly Traverse City), the Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings, the Michigan Warriors, the Jamestown Ironmen, the Janesville Jets, the Springfield Jr. Blues, and the Johnstown Tomahawks (Formerly Alaska).  Alaska's move leaves just four teams in the West Division.  The league will release the 2012-13 schedule and the format for the Robertson Cup in the coming weeks.
