Ocotber is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and adding to the groups that are involved in the campaign is radio station 96.9, WBTI. Program Director Ben Coburn says new pink shirts which say: "Check One Check Two Don't Put It Off" were recently purchased by the station with help from Lakeshore Graphics. They will be sold at Women's Wellness Place at Port Huron Hospital for $15 each with 100% of the money going to the Free Mammogram Fund. Sales began Monday.
