NEW WARNING SYSTEM ACTIVATED

The Community Awareness Emergency Response organization in Sarnia's Chemical Valley has opened up the phone lines for a new public information service for both sides of the border.  The group's Dean Edwardson says a 24-hour pre-recorded call-in telephone message line is available to residents in Sarnia-Lambton and St. Clair County Michigan. Around a dozen companies have signed on board...representing over half the firms in chemical valley.  He says most of the calls will likely involve questions about the flaring process in some of the stacks and various noises that are heard from time to time. The telephone number is 1-855-4Sarnia or 1-855-472-7642.
