A 49 year old Algonac man was killed Sunday afternoon in a hit and run crash on Dixie Highway. According to St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the man, identified as Timothy Clore, was driving his motorcycle in the 9400 block of Dixie Highway, when he was struck by a pickup truck, driven by a 40 year old New Baltimore man. The driver of the pickup fled the scene of the 4:30 p.m. crash, but was observed by citizens who called St. Clair County Central Dispatch. He was arrested without incident and charges are now pending.
