The Port Huron Patriots indoor football team has been sold to a group of local investors headed up by Jude Carter. Former owner and head coach Dave Kinsman is out of the picture. He will be replaced as coach by former Port Huron High grad Demar Cranford. The Patriots (1-1) on the season will take on the defending champion Saginaw Sting (2-0) on Saturday at 7:30 PM at McMorran Arena. It also appears that Kinsman's other team in the CIFL, the Detroit Thunder, will be taken over by the league until new ownership can be found. The Thunder are using McMorran for their home field on Saterday at 2 PM to play Erie.
