Pistons Fire Coach

The Detroit Pistons have fired head coach Mo Cheeks after just 50 games on the job.  The team is (21-29) on the season and has won its last two games, but owner Tom Gores ordered the firing on Sunday morning, saying his team is "underachieving".  Assistant John Loyer will take over the team on Monday when they host the San Antonio Spurs at the Palace.
