It's getting closer... that's the de-listing of the St. Clair River as an area of concern due to pollution and other environmental and man-made factors. Thursday will see speakers from both the U.S. and Canada talking about the river and how it's coming along in terms of impairments. Patty Troy is with the U.S. Bi-National Public Advisory Council for the St. Clair River, and she says things are looking up for getting the waterway back into good health. Troy says BPAC's goal is to see the river eventually taken off the federal and state areas of concern list. The St. Clair River symposium is free to attend and will be held at the Lambton Inn Ballroom at Lambton College along London Road in Sarnia. It starts at 8:30 am
