It's here... it's summertime, despite what the calendar says.  It's the time of year when children have fewer responsibilities and are free to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. Dr. Rodney Green at the East China School District says with changes made to school programs, such as all-day kindergarten, summertime for kids should still be a time for them to relax and get out and play like kids. Most school districts in the Blue Water area, as well as the local library system, offer summertime events and activities for kids, including sports, or reading and math programs.  Check with your local school district, library, or recreation department for more information.
