A couple local school districts saw millage requests approved by voters on Tuesday, with both of them failing in the previous election. Voters in the Yale Community Schools approved a .22-mill request Tuesday, with school officials saying the tax will generate nearly $2-million dollars during the next nine years and be used to pay for technology and transportation upgrades. Meanwhile, voters in the Sandusky Community Schools district approved a renewal of an 18-mill non-homestead tax. The results are unofficial, until verified by the state Board of Canvassers.
