It's a one day festival at the Great Lakes Maritime Center on Saturday that's aimed at increasing interest in restoring lake sturgeons to higher population levels in the St. Clair River... and it's called the Blue Water Sturgeon Festival. Sheri Faust at the St. Clair County Health Department says the Huron Lady will be conducting special sturgeon cruises, with guests able to see lake sturgeon in the St. Clair River via a live video feed from a professional diver underneath the Huron Lady. Big screen televisions on deck will allow all guests a personal view of the live action from the bottom of the river. Tickets for the cruise are being offered at a reduced rate and are available online at huronlady.com. Admission and parking at the Maritime Center are free. The event runs from 9:30am to 4pm.
