Name: They call me "The Bob"
When are you on 96.9 WBTI: Taking all your requests Saturday nights from 7:00-Midnight.
How long have you been at 96.9 WBTI: Since 2008.
What's the best part about working at 96.9 WBTI: I like to wear flip flops at work!
What's the worst part about working at 96.9 WBTI: Believe it or not, Radio DJs are not actually paid well. Not even close lol.
Where do you live: I live in Port Huron now, and I grew up in Lakeport since I was 12.
Are you married, single, or in one the those "complicated, hard to explain things": I've been married for 3 years, since I was 18.
Where do you hang out in Port Huron: Cool City Games in downtown Port Huron, which is an awesome hobby and game store, and that outdoor roller hockey rink in Marysville. I'm also culinary student at SC4 and a cook at Fore Lakes, so I actually spend almost all my time in the kitchen at one of those two places
What is your favorite thing to do when you're not working: It's pretty rare that I'm not working or going to class, but if I'm not I like to play hockey and basketball and geeky card and miniature games. I also like to cook and draw.
Who are your favorite artists on 96.9 WBTI: Bruno Mars, The All-American Rejects, and Linkin Park.
Who are you all-time favorite artists: The Offspring, The Smashing Pumpkins, Jimi Hendrix, The White Stripes, and The Silversun PIckups.
What's your favorite movie: Fight Club
What your must see TV shows: I actually hate watching TV. South Park I guess.
Let's get random
What's your favorite color: Blue
What's the point of Facebook: To get as much attention as possible and have everyone think you're funny and clever.
What's the point of Twitter: I don't know, I don't understand it. Literally, I need a translator for that stuff.
Do you miss Myspace: Yes! Myspace was more personalized. The only thing Facebook does better is the status updates, but that's all they need, since social networking sites are all about getting attention.
When was the last time you cried: I don't know. I definitely cried inside when the Wings lost Game 7 to San Jose in the NHL playoffs.
Do you smoke: Nope. I'm not really against it, I just don't want to spend the money.
Do you drink: Duh, every day, just like everyone else in the world. You need to stay hydrated. Dumb question.
Can you roll your tongue: Like Rrrrrrrrruffles have Rrrrrrrridges? Yeah.
When is a guy too old to wear his hat backwards: You know I think it depends. For example Chris Chelios is like 50 but he looks 30 so it's ok. And he's a hockey player. Frank the overweight accountant probably shouldn't though if he's 50. Or 30 for that matter.
Are you one of those people that parks their car by the St. Clair river and then just randomally jumps in: No, but my brother Steve does. He's a crazy dude.
How many times have you been to Canada in the last year: ZERO. No passport, too lazy/poor to get one.
Do you have any pets: My wife has 3 cats. I hate them.
Why don't you have children: Because I'm 21. Maybe in a couple years.
Tell me something else I should know about you:I have eaten every single item on the menu at Casey's Pizza and Subs in downtown Port Huron. (Like 80 different things) If you look on the wall to the right of the counter, there's a plaque commemorating my awesomeness.
