Tigers Bats Go Cold

the Detroit Tigers managed just one hit on Monday night in a 3-0 loss at Pittsburgh, the third straight set back on the teams current nine game road trip.  Jordan Zimmermann tossed a solid game, holding Detroit within a run until allowing a two run home run in the seventh inning to the Pirates John Jaso.  Zimmermann finished with seven innings pitched, allowing three runs and five hits.  The Tigers play in Pittsburgh on Tuesday night, before the teams come to Detroit to play two games later this week.
