Justin Verlander tossed a three hit gem over eight innings, with eight strike outs, and the Detroit Tigers shutout the Batimore Orioles on Sunday 4-0 in Baltimore.  Jose Valverde pitched the ninth while Austin Jackson and Miguel Cabrera hit home runs for Detroit.  The Tigers took two out of three from the Birds and moved into second place in the AL Central.  Detroit is home on Monday night to face the Los Angeles Angels.
