Tigers Lose Rain Shortened Game

Bad weather caused the Tigers game in Boston to be called off in the top of the sixth inning on Tuesday night at Fenway Park.  The Red Sox were leading 4-1 at the time and get credit for the win because five full innings had been completed, making the game official.  When play was called the Tigers had the bases loaded with two outs and Omar Infante comming to the plate.  Miguel Cabrera drove in the only run for Detroit with a bases loaded walk in the third, but the Red Sox scored four runs off of Justin Verlander in the fourth inning.  The final game of a three game series is set for Wednesday night.
